Birch Digital collects the following data:

Data collected directly from the website (such as cookie information, data entered in the contact form and browsing behaviour) will be processed by our hosting provider Bluehost and, therefore, will pass through Bluehost’s servers in the USA before being stored in the UK by the Birch Digital. 

Google Analytics data and security screening and monitoring data may be stored and processed outside the UK.

Birch Digital will keep personal data for up to 2 years since the last time we contacted you. If we contact you again or respond to a query from you within the 2-year term, the timer will reset and we will keep your data for up to 2 more years. The 2-year term is subject to an exclusion below. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data during the next data cleaning cycle.

We may hold personal data for more than two years if you purchased any services from Birch Digital. In this case, the data may be used for business growth statistics, geographical sales statistics, price reviews and feedback.

Data we hold about your business may be held indefinitely and re-used as appropriate. This type of data will be completely anonymous and it will not include any personal information.

Birch Digital may also collect statistics about user behaviour on birchdigital.co.uk website to ensure website’s security and continued improvements. We may collect this information through Google Analytics data, Sucuri security and monitoring services and Akismet spam screening services.
